There are a ton of cool features available on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2, but if you're a softModder, you can make your phone do just about anything.
Therein lies the problem…what do you want from your Android device?
When you first start tinkering around, it can be troublesome to know where to start, since there are so many different hacks and mods out there, and so many different ways to perform them. But things just got a little easier for those of you with a Windows PC, thanks to the Android Everything Tool from Android developer ricky310711.
What the Android Everything Tool Can Do for You
The all-purpose Windows tool, formerly exclusive to the HTC Sensation XL, can now be used for a multitude of functions when it comes to having full control over your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or other Android device.
You can do things such as unlock the bootloader, install recoveries and recovery themes, flash ROMs and mods, force updates, and fix errors in your SD card. Some of the other functions of AET include the following.
- Change the LCD pixel density
- Enable root permissions
- Flash .zip files
- Backup device
- Restore device
- Wipe data, cache, system, dalvik, etc.
- Fix low battery errors
- And much, much more
The application also comes with guides (for beginners) that teach you step by step what do do, from how to unlock your bootloader to installing custom recoveries and ROMs and ZIP files.
The Feature That I Like the Best...
The thing that I find most helpful is changing your device's LCD density settings. If you're not antiquated with this, it's sort of similar to changing the screen resolution on your computer—the smaller the number, the larger the resolution.
Try it out with your Android device and let us know how it works! If you have any suggestions for improvements and new features, contact developer ricky310711 directly, or just post some of your thoughts below in the comments if you want.
